I wouldn't pay 15 cents for this book. Story line is horrible, it's way too short, the characters and plot are terribly bland. My five year old niece writes better than this. Waste of money!

All her life, Imani Aliyah had been told that one day she would meet her soul mate. Although Imani had dated, she never dived into a serious relationship, mainly because her father had always found a way to hinder any forward progress since that particular man was not her true mate. Then Imani met Dr. Isaak Silverman, and her life changed forever.

While giving an Ethiopian Jews lecture to a graduate group of students, Dr. Isaak Silverman became instantly intrigued by a raven haired, golden eyed beauty sitting in his class. As luck would have it, she turned out to be the daughter of a friend from his past - a secret past that was brought to the forefront while Isaak was invited to spend the holidays with Imani and her family.

While, Imani's Gift was only fourteen pages in length, author Mahogany SilverRain managed to pack a whole lot in such a small package. Some will argue that this story needs to be expanded in order to get to know the main characters better, and I agree. Nevertheless, Imani's Gift was a quick, joyous read filled with compassion, passion and a mysterious undertone that hopefully will be a great introduction of what's more to come. So, if you are in the mood for a wonderful quickie to enjoy through your lunch break, then you definitely will want to check out Ms. SilverRain's Imani' Gift.
